Veggie Capsules are produced with plant-derived material (HPMC: hydroxy, propyl, methyl, and cellulose) and purified water. The HPMC is a wood pulp derived from the softwood tree species including Pine and Spruce.


Product introduction:

Healsee empty HPMC veggie capsules are made from cellulose. The cellulose used to manufacture HPMC capsules is derived from trees, inert and free from animal source related issues. Veggie capsules futures low moisture content, ideal for moisture sensitive and liquid formulations. Healsee capsules contain no preservatives, gelatin, wheat, gluten or animal by-products. To ensure complete safety, all our empty capsules are Kosher and Halal certified, and made in NSF-GMP approved facility.

Product details

Dimple is designed to gently engage with indented ring of the body during pre-locked status.

Smooth cutting edge can affect the capsule filling performance.

The tapered rim design on the body allows for telescope-free encapsulation, especially on high speed capsule filling machines.

Hemispherical end also needs to bear closing pressure during locking motion.

End of cap is the main part bearing closing pressure during locking motion. Its thickness must bear closing force of the filling machine to prevent dent.

Locking rings are designed to be close-fitting during locked status and to prevent separation or content leakage.

Air vents are designed to release the compressed air inside capsules occurred during filling process.

Body thickness must be within specifications for enabling to perform smoothly during filling process and to have a close fit between the walls of cap and body.

 

Production process

· Once raw materials have been received and released by Quality Control, the glue and hot pure water are mixed under vacuum in Melting System.

· Then the solution is transferred to feed tanks.

· Dyes and any needed water are added to the solution in feed tanks to complete the preparation procedure.

· From the feed tank, the glue is gravity fed to Dipper section. Here, the capsules are molded onto Pin Bars which are dipped into the solution.

· Once dipped, the Pin Bars rise to the upper deck allowing the cap and body to set on the Pins.

· The Pin Bars pass through the Drying System. Here gently moving air which is precisely controlled for volume, temperature, and humidity, removes the exact amount of moisture from the capsule halves.

· Once drying is complete, the Pin Bars enter the Table section which positions the capsule halves for stripping from the Pins in the Automatic section.

· In the Automatic section, capsule halves are individually stripped from the Pins.

· The cap and body lengths are precisely trimmed to a ±0.15 mm tolerance.

· The capsule bodies and caps are joined automatically in the joiner blocks.

· Finished capsules are pushed onto a conveyer belt which carries them out to a container.

· Capsule quality is monitored throughout the production process including size, moisture content, single wall thickness, and color.

· Capsules are sorted and visually inspected on specially designed Inspection Stations.

· Perfect capsules are imprinted with the client logo on high-speed capsule printing machines. Capsules are now ready to be sterilized and packaged.
