The hard rail of this VMC650 CNC milling machine has good rigidity, but its disadvantage is high friction resistance, so its accuracy and speed are relatively low, so it is suitable for heavy cutting. There are two kinds of linear slide rails commonly used in this CNC milling machine, one is ball bearing guide rail, and the other is roller guide rail. As the name implies, ball mill guide rail realizes linear sliding through steel ball rolling, while roller guide rail realizes linear rolling through cylindrical roller rolling, and its friction resistance is less than hard rail. The ball guide is point contact, and the roller guide is line contact, so the friction resistance of the roller guide is greater than the ball guide, and the rigidity is stronger than the ball guide.
